Hopes Haven has many goals as it moves forward and grows each year. There are projects on our near-term and long-term radar as well as on-going support to local treatment centers. Here is a look:

The No Place Like Home Initiative
On the long-term agenda, Hopes Haven plans to spearhead an initiative called No Place Like Home. This projects aims to provide free lodging to families commuting into the Los Angeles area for their child’s surgery or rehabilitation as well as supply transitional housing during treatment for families in Ventura county. We are looking to banks, foreclosure specialists, private investors and community development entities for any assistance. The goal is to allow families a piece of home and the warmth it provides during their child's troubled times.
Toy & Game Donations
Hopes Haven strives to enhance the treatment experience by supplying hospitals and clinics with entertainment units, toys and games that will foster a more positive healing atmosphere. Have items you would like to donate? Email us at donations@hopes-haven.org
The iPad Project
Imaginated by a Hopes Haven board member, our iPad Project donates iPads to pediatric long-term treatment centers in Ventura & Los Angeles counties. Learn more about the iPad Project and Mikey's story.
