Extended hospital stays are no way to spend a summer. However many children who face a life-threatening illness will spend long days in the hospital, some children left to endure medical isolation.
iPad Sponsorship Opportunity - $600
Would you like to have a personal and direct impact on a child’s experience during their treatment? Hopes Haven offers individuals, businesses, teams and groups the opportunity to personally sponsor an iPad for a pediatric treatment facility.
The iPad Project aims to bring the world back to these kids and keep them connected to friends, family, entertainment and normalcy. Hopes Haven donates iPads to clinics and hospitals, making them available to the patients and families, especially those in long-term stay or isolation. Unfortunately at this time iPads are not available for direct family giving.
Imagineered by Hopes Haven Board Member, Mike Fortini, whose family was personally impacted, the iPad project and its expanding drive to bring entertainment and connection to kids, is a proud project for the 2012-2013 year. Read more about the Fortini family's story.
